Job Details/Qualifications
Quarry Oaks is seeking reliable and dynamic individuals for the positions of Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, working with fellow team members, delivering high quality food and welcoming experiences. You will be responsible for preparing and assembling dishes ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and sanitation. This position requires some knowledge of cooking techniques, understanding of sanitation practices, ability to follow procedures, and good communication skills. You will be a part of a team creating restaurant and banquet experiences for our guests, contributing to the success of our restaurant and golf course.
Responsibilities:
Ability to work as a team member and adhere to golf course policies.
Ability to work in a fast paced, fun and changing environment.
Adhere to cooking and sanitation standards to maintain a high quality of food and service. Ability to follow recipes and instructions for all dishes to ensure quality and controlled portions. Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
Knowledge of various cooking methods and basic ingredients Ability to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to understand food safety and sanitation regulations Ability to lift 50 lbs
Reliable means of transportation to and from work.
Experience in a professional kitchen setting is considered an asset Banquet experience is considered an asset
Additional training will be provided.
