Head Chef

Play Golf Calgary is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic chef to lead our culinary team at The Links of GlenEagles!

We are looking for a chef to champion our four core values of Pride, Friendliness, Efficiency, and Energy

The successful candidate will focus on attention to detail and the highest standards in the execution of the daily menu as well as functions and special events.

Key requirements:

• A strong leadership personality
• Calm under pressure
• 3 plus years’ experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Experience in managing costs and inventory control.
• A high standard of quality and creativity.
• Combination of schooling and experience at various concepts
• Valid food safety training certificate

Position responsibilities:

• Creating a positive culture while developing the next leaders in our culinary team
• Hiring, training and retaining a kitchen staff that will maintain the high standards that are set by Play Golf Calgary
• Working with food provider representatives
• Inventory and ordering of top quality and fresh ingredients
• Managing costs and profits
• Maintaining health and safety standards
• Developing menus for league nights

Compensation includes:

• Yearly salary commensurate with experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Experience:

• chef: 3 years (preferred)
