Job Details/Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Events Coordinator to identify and secure events for our golf club. This role involves researching, networking, and building relationships to bring tournaments, corporate outings, charity fundraisers, and social events to our venue. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong sales, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for hosting golf tournaments, corporate events, fundraisers, and private gatherings.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, and event planners to promote the club as a premier event destination.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event details to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
  • Work closely with the club's management, food & beverage team, and operations staff to coordinate event logistics.
  • Track event inquiries, follow up with leads, and maintain a calendar of scheduled events.
  • Promote event offerings through networking, social media, and community outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in event planning, sales, or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for golf and knowledge of the industry is a plus.
