Countryview Golf Club, one of Prince Edward Island’s premier golf destinations, is seeking a dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and management of our 18-hole course. We are looking for a passionate professional with a strong background in turf management, leadership, and a commitment to delivering top tier playing conditions for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turf management, irrigation, and landscaping.
• Develop and implement agronomic programs to maintain optimal course conditions.
• Lead and manage a team of grounds staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the automated Rain Bird irrigation system.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust maintenance strategies accordingly.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and collaborate with management on financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain course equipment and oversee proper usage and servicing.
• Work closely with management to enhance the overall golfer experience.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree or diploma in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with proven leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass science, pest control, and irrigation systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings.
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning for golf course operations.
• Provincial Pesticide Applicator Certification (or ability to obtain).
