Paradise Valley Golf Course is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Golf Instructor (Part-Time) to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong passion for golf, excellent coaching abilities, and a commitment to helping players achieve their goals.

Paradise Valley is an 18-hole Par3 Golf Course with a year-round Toptracer Driving Range and a 1000 sq foot indoor synthetic putting green. Located in the scenic Seven Persons Creek valley in Medicine Hat, AB, the facility also offers a retail Golf Shop, year-round Restaurant and Event Centre, and outdoor function areas. We host an average of 45,000 9-hole rounds each season (an average of 300-350 golfers each day), and have an active program of leagues (with over 300 participants in 3 leagues), corporate tournaments and fun golf events.

The only Golf Entertainment Facility of its kind in Medicine Hat, Paradise Valley currently does not have a Golf Professional on staff. We are looking for a Golf Instructor to help us develop the PV Golf Academy (operating year-round) and to optimize the use of the Toptracer technology. This will be the FIRST Golf Learning Centre of its kind in this region. We are already at the forefront of Junior, Family, Women’s, and Novice Golf in the area, and are the preferred facility for multiple school programs and golf academy programs.

The intent of the PV Golf Academy will be to:
• Provide private and semi-private golf instruction and lessons to customers;
• Provide a supervised facility for local schools to use for golf instruction and practice;
• Create a junior golf program in Medicine Hat which is focused on growing the game through lessons and on-course play;
• Offer a variety of golf clinics for beginners, juniors, women, groups, etc.
• Maximize use of the Toptracer Driving Range and the technology it offers

This is the only Golf Instructor role at Paradise Valley, and the successful candidate will be our exclusive provider for all lessons and clinics. While primarily a part-time role, this could also be combined with other opportunities, depending upon interest and experience. For example, the Toptracer Range is underutilized at this point, and offering club fitting services, technology-based leagues, fun tournaments and other events are all ideas to be considered.

The ideal candidate will have a keen desire to help grow the game of golf, with experience teaching juniors and beginner golfers. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service is is essential, as are excellent organizational & communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours. The candidate must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience using golf technology for coaching is a requirement, with Toptracer Range or Topgolf experience preferred.

Salary: Payment terms are flexible and will be negotiated depending upon the agreed upon services.
