Associate/Assistant Professional - Oliver's Nest Golf Club

Oliver’s Nest Golf Club is seeking a motivated candidate to join our professional team for 2025 and beyond! This role offers a unique chance to dive into all aspects of the operation whilst working alongside our Director of Operations. You will be mentoring our golf operations team including pro shop, back shop and volunteers. You will be tasked with developing and growing a Junior Camp program for 2025 and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Operations in execution of all Member and Outside golf events
• Engage in sales, merchandising, inventory management, and various administrative tasks
• Manage Golf Operations Team (approximately 20 staff)
• Coordinate Men’s and Ladies Leagues with league convenor
• Develop and manage Junior Camps
• Play regularly with our members
• Teach lessons outside of scheduled hours
• Check-in Members and Guests in the Pro Shop utilizing Lightspeed Golf
• 5-6 days on site per week with ½ day expected prior to playing in leagues

Qualifications

• PGA Member in Good Standing
• An outgoing and engaging personality with a customer-first mindset
• A dedicated team player who thrives on delivering exceptional service
• Proficiency in Lightspeed Golf/Retail is an advantage
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising staff
• Ability to teach golfers of all skill levels
• A keen eye for detail in the retail and merchandising space
• The ability and desire to help wherever/whenever necessary – this may mean flipping burgers, serving at the grill, being starter and picking the range

Compensation

• Salary: $900 - $1000/week commensurate with experience
• Lesson Revenue - 90%

• Full coverage of your PGA of Canada dues based on performance

• 50% off meals while on shift
