Location: Centre Wellington, Ontario, Canada


Department: Golf
Reports To: Ownership
Classification: Full-Time
Salary: Determined based on experience and skill level, group benefits and yearly bonus potential.

Job Overview:

Are you a skilled and experienced golf course manager looking for a new challenge? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead and manage Wildwinds Golf Links.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of golf course operations, including but not limited to staffing, scheduling, tournaments and events

  • Manage and train staff to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Ensure the course is always in pristine condition and meets the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and financial planning for the course
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase course revenue, overall efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain the safety and security of the course, staff and its facilities
  • Managing all staff in accordance with Club policies and provincial legislation
  • Supervising staff by ensuring their duties and responsibilities are properly defined and efficiently performed through the heads of each department
  • Responsible for overall membership and customer services and relations
  • Monitor financial objectives and reporting
  • Plan and implement ongoing golf course, facility and operational improvements

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of management experience (preference given to those with golf sector experience)
  • Significant knowledge of golf
  • Experience in coordinating and running golf tournaments and other social events/ functions
  • Experience with food and beverage operations, marketing, budgeting, financial planning and team management/ leadership
  • Smart Serve required
