Albatross Indoor Golf Centre is an innovative indoor golfing destination in Ancaster, Ontario, offering a unique and premium golfing experience. With advanced simulators, a welcoming environment, and a commitment to exceptional service, we provide an exciting and enjoyable experience for golf enthusiasts. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team in a management role and contribute to the growth and success of the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of Albatross Indoor Golf Centre, ensuring top-tier service and a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff, including managing day-to-day tasks, training, and providing ongoing support.
  • Manage customer service operations, addressing any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating events, leagues, and group bookings to maximize usage and customer engagement.
  • Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, ensuring all equipment and simulators are in optimal working condition.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of promotional activities and programs to increase customer loyalty and brand recognition.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights to senior management on operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and other team members to ensure seamless operations and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of both staff and customers.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in the hospitality, sports, or recreation industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and lead a team.
  • Passion for golf or sports with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various operational aspects of the business efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Flexible schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Please note: This is a salaried position with a seasonal workload. The role requires more intensive hours during the winter months, with a lighter workload in the summer. Flexibility is key, as the schedule will adjust to meet the demands of the season.
